[Cappy]

Hi all, I am 71 and just getting into this game thus "oldie newbie". I am a retired airline pilot and a much younger friend of mine is helping me. I have had a computer for years, but only recently have I become interested in the computer for itself. I have just completed my own build, with some new and some used components. I have an i7-2600k overclocked to 4.42, liquid cooled with a cooling system that came with a new (but old) Thermaltake Kandalf case. My motherboard is an Asus P8Z68pro gen with 16 gigs of 1333 Ram. The video card is an XFX Radeon hd 6870. I had another HIS 6870 running in crossfire, but it was used and failed soon after I got it. I have an OCZ ssd for the Win 7 64 bit OS, and a Western Digital 1 TB hard drive. I also have a mess of used 2.5" drives from dead laptops which I use for music and photos etc. My friend is going to help me set up RAID 0 when we both have time for it. Now that I have got this far into it I am realizing just how little I really know and how much I have to learn. The up side is that I have lots of time for it. My friend introduced me to the Rockers and now I am introducing myself to you. Advice is always gratefully accepted.
